Bottlerockets - Kintsugi

Format : Single

Release date : May 23, 2025

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing ceramic with a golden lacquer. Just as people come together, so too do they come apart. Whether it’s the explosiveness of a fight that had been building, or the cold numbness of drifting out of touch with someone you were once close with, people come apart. When you inevitably pick the pieces of yourself back up, you get the privilege of performing unto yourself a ‘beautiful repair’, or Kintsugi. All we end up with is memories, but at least we get to choose how we feel about them.
